This morning I got a twitter. So far, that’s all that’s happened with it. Besides Miley and Demi, I can’t find anyone I know because it won’t link to my facebook. Very inconvenient, and annoying. I really expected to be able to get started right away.

Other than that, not much is going on – although it’s a nice change, seeing as four jobs and two classes can really bring a girl down. I’m a mommy this week – mom and dad are in Hawaii, so I get to try out my own parenting shoes with Prince Charming. So far, so good -we have realized we’re not ready to be parents, but that we might just be pretty decent onces when the time comes. We’re opposites, but somehow that works out when balancing the responsibilities of having two kids.

Listen to me – 20 years old and I sound like a lonely housewife trying to talk out into the world and hope to be heard. Sad. I guess I should head back to the beach – seeing as how UPS is holding my DDR that’s in the mail hostage in San Pablo, CA. Doesn’t seem likely that it’s actually “In transit and on time” when it’s been there for six days now and I’m in Florida anxiously awaiting it’s anticipated arrival sometime tomorrow.

Ok, so I’m pissed.  I try to be informed, and people get upset when I ask questions.  So then I don’t ask questions, and they get pseudo-mad at me to try and reform my ways.  Is my proactive nature recognized? not. Definitely not. But I press on.

This entire week has been hectic, and a supervisor that previously had been supportive and wanting me to ask questions no longer has the time nor the slightest inclination to answer.  I feel the need to scream “Injustice” I say!

The problem here is the double standard – once supervisors realize you are more than competent in one area, they then feel the need to expect that level of excellence in every thing (which would be fine, if not for the fact that none of have a clue what we’re doing.)   It’s been my curse with working with authority figures – almost every job I’ve had, it’s been the immediate supervisory panel rather than the head honchos that somehow don’t seem capable of connecting with their staff in a way that helps work be completed in a cohesive, comfortable, and reasonable environment. It’s not really that difficult, people. Let’s stop treating people as if they are retarded – we “underlings” only act as stupid as we think you are.

I guess we should just hope the customers don’t figure it out before your own bosses do!

The world is such a conformist place, and I choose to conform, yet in my own way: I have found Prince Charming, and yet we are such a misfit! We are total opposites, and both Celtic-blooded stubborn to the end!  I don’t care what my mother thinks, but my room is clean just for my own benefit! I will do what I will do whenever I can find the time – but for now, I will just blog.
